How do I create a recurring billuing plan in CardPointe?

To create a recurring billing plan for a customer, navigate to the Virtual Terminal and select the Customers tab. Locate the customer and click the last four digits of their card number to open their account details.

Next, find the Billing Plans section and click New Billing Plan. Select the location where the transactions should be processed, choose the start date, and set the desired billing frequency in the Bill Every field. Then, specify how long the billing plan should remain active.

Enter the amount to be charged for each scheduled payment and review the plan details. Once everything is configured correctly, click Save Plan to activate the recurring billing schedule.

You can also create a recurring billing plan directly from the Billing Plans section within the Virtual Terminal. If you choose this method, the setup process is the same; however, you will first need to create a customer profile before creating the billing plan. Both the customer profile and billing plan can be created from the same page, making it easy to set up recurring payments for new customers.
