What Happens If You Miss a Batch Close in CardPointe?

If you miss a batch close, your funding may be delayed by one business day.

CardPointe uses an automatic daily settlement feature, which is typically scheduled to run at approximately 9:30 PM or 10:00 PM Eastern Time. If a batch is not manually closed before the scheduled settlement time, CardPointe will automatically capture and settle the open batch during the next settlement cycle.

As a result, transactions in the missed batch are generally processed and submitted to the bank on the following business day, which may delay funding by approximately one business day.
