Will my batch automatically close?

If you do not manually close a batch, CardSmart will automatically close it 24 hours after the first transaction in the batch.

For example, if the first transaction in a batch is processed at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, the batch will automatically close at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.

Once the batch is closed, the transactions included in that batch are submitted for settlement.
